Senator Sani Musa

Senator Sani Musa, who is aspiring for the 10th Senate Presidency, has denied reports suggesting that he has withdrawn from the race.

Musa, who represents Niger East Senatorial District, clarified his position in a statement, stating that he is still in the race and that the reports of his withdrawal were not true.

He added that he would only step down if the All Progressives Congress decides to zone the presiding officer’s positions to other zones, apart from the North Central.

Musa appealed to his fellow Senators-elect, his constituents, and the general public to remain steadfast and optimistic about a united and robust 10th National Assembly that would be an independent and committed partner to the incoming administration.
