The African Action Congress (AAC) during the course of the weekend revealed its governorship and deputy candidates in Lagos State, Mr. Akeem Olayiwola and Ben Eze respectively, for the 2023 general elections with a commitment to assume control over the state.

AAC was formed by the convener of #RevolutionNow, Mr. Omoyele Sowore.
The governorship candidate, who decried the situation in Lagos, described the state as a “city languishing in confusion and a city with the horrible standard of living.”

According to him, an average worker in the state appears as a slave and therefore promised to safeguard the interest of millions of informal workers who he noted had been detached from the affairs of the state.

He said, “This Lagos isn’t the Lagos we all dreamt of. This is definitely not the Lagos we all want; whether you are an indigene or non-indigene. So, which Lagos do we really want? Our party, the African Action Congress (AAC), believes in true pragmatic ways of doing things.
