Two of the remaining 98 Chibok schoolgirls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram in 2014 have escaped from captivity in the Sambisa forest in Borno State.
According to sources, who spoke with Daily Trust said their escape was made possible by the intense military operations in the forest.
One of the escapees is Hauwa Mutah, while the other is Esther Markus.
A security source revealed that one of the girls is from Chibok, while the other is from Dzilang village.
